The Evening Standard is set to host a number of bespoke speakeasy events, with the first event kicking off on 13th February, exploring the world of American whiskey.
The Speakeasy series will immerse guests in the stories of premium spirits and drinks, expertly run by renowned specialists in the field, including master distillers, master blenders and brand ambassadors. The evening will include tastings with specially paired food and entertainment designed to complement each style.
The American Whiskey evening – hosted at The Ditch, Shoreditch – will include a four-hour sensorial, educational and immersive experience for American Whiskey lovers. A selection of premium whiskey tastings from Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Michter’s, Sazerac Rye and Southern Comfort.
Guests will also receive a welcome drink on arrival, a gift to take away and the opportunity to purchase exclusive and high-end American whiskeys.
The Speakeasy series, which are set to run monthly, will run further events for rum, gin and tequila and many more.
