Tickets are selling fast for the IPM Awards 2017 Gala Dinner on Wednesday, June 7 2017, the biggest event of the promotional marketing industry’s year, where the winners of this year’s IPM Awards will be revealed.

Carey Trevill, Managing Director of the Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM), the industry body which represents marketers who use promotions and the agencies and suppliers which create them, says: “The IPM Awards this year has seen a significant increase in entries, so we’re expecting to see even more guests at the most recognised and prestigious gathering in the UK’s promotional marketing calendar, for a night of recognition, reward and celebration! If you want to be there, you should be booking your tickets now.”

Last year, more than 600 guests celebrated the best of the best in the promotions world and networked the night away at the London Hilton on Park Lane, which is again the venue for the celebrations.

There will be a drinks reception beforehand, starting at 6.15pm, with the Gala Dinner starting at 7.00pm. The Awards After Party kicks off at 11.00pm, with the evening ending at 1.00am.

Dress is black tie.  Look out for the IPM Awards 2017 shortlist to be published early next week.

Teams from the promotional marketing industry competed in the IPM Bowling Tournament in Manchester at the end of March 2017, with Zeal Creative taking away the King Pin trophy.

The tournament was held at the All Star Lanes, Deansgate, Manchester on March 28^th 2017, and attracted entries from Inspire, Refinery, Zeal (two teams), The IF Agency and Granby Marketing Services.

All teams played one game each with the two highest scorers then competing in the final, which saw Zeal defeat Inspire to claim the King Pin trophy. The picture shows both Zeal teams with the trophy.

The IPM runs a number of networking and social events for its members in London and major hub cities, including the IPM 5-a-Side Football and IPM Netball Tournaments, which are both scheduled to take place on April 20^th 2017 at the Play On Sports indoor arena, close to the Whitechapel Tube Station in London’s East End.
