The activity aims to drive awareness and sales of flagship Android handsets from brands like Sony, Huawei and LG. To leverage the superior camera features and high-quality photography capabilities of the latest handsets, O2 wanted to create an added-value reward that could really bring these elements to life at point of purchase

The campaign was created by integrated agency Blue Chip, which is managing creative, concept development and print production, including devising a scratchcard mechanic to enable customers to claim their free printers, which will be delivered by post within 28 days of consumers registering a claim.

Dan Selas, Account Director at Blue Chip, says: “We know these handsets are appealing to a certain type of audience that love to be creative and take lots of high quality photos, and the Kodak Mini 2 Bluetooth printer is the perfect companion for these handsets as it allows you to produce amazing vibrant prints from your best pictures.”

The promotion runs until the end of June across the O2 state nationwide.

Blue Chip is a multi-award-winning Manchester-based integrated agency that works for clients including Essity, Kellogg’s, SPAR and Muller.

Three has teamed up with the Pug Café, UK’s leading pop-up event provider for pugs, to create an immersive experience for dog owners and admirers alike. A limited number of tickets are available, priced at £5, which entitles the holder to one 75-minute brunch slot including one main breakfast dish, bottomless pastries, prosecco and coffee or tea, as well as food for their dog, if they bring one.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association.

The pop-up ‘All You Can Pug’ brunch, which will take place on Saturday May 12th, follows the recent announcement that Three has added Snapchat to its range of services offered as part of Go Binge, allowing customers to snap, chat and share without using their data allowance. Three also unveiled the new star of its ad campaign, Puggerfly, a squishy-faced, purple-winged pug, created, according to the network, to embody all things social and fun.

Puggerfly allows users to access different consecutive Snapchat lenses across seven days, letting them nurture and love their Puggerfly as he grows from a ball-chasing, rainbow-pooping puppyfly right through to a fully-fledged flying Puggerfly. Snap’s 12 million UK daily active users can interact with the animated dog, no matter what network they are on. Users can feed Puggerfly treats, play ball with it, enjoy sloppy dog kisses and even watch it twerk to dance music. The seven lenses launched on April 26th, one per day; after the seven days are up, they will be available to Snapchat users via Snapcodes that will be incorporated into Three’s UK wide advertising and media campaign.

The Pug Brunch was created and managed by Three’s PR agency, W Communications.

Three’s ‘All You Can Pug Brunch’ will take place simultaneously in London and Liverpool, with dog owners and admirers invited to head to Covent Garden Grind in London and Love Thy Neighbour in Liverpool for bottomless brunch dishes and the chance to pet pugs. Guests also have the opportunity to capture photos of themselves with Puggerfly’s giant rainbow poo statue (recently seen roaming London’s capital’s streets), dress up their pampered pooches as Puggerfly, or sample all seven Puggerfly Snap codes.

Consumers can book tickets for the one day pop-up pug cafes via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/Liverpool/ and https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/London/.

The VR experience is part of Three’s recent campaign launching even more destinations to its Feel At Home service, where you can use your phone abroad at no extra cost in 60 destinations worldwide.

Kinetic Active and Mindshare has created an experiential VR activation which sees shoppers taken on a five-stop world tour of Three’s Feel At Home destinations. From hang-gliding around Christ the Redeemer in Rio and chilling on a Miami beach, to sightseeing in Australia and watching a lantern festival in Hong Kong.

The activation ran on June 17-18 in London’s Westfield shopping centre and will be running again on June 23-24 in Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre.

The VR experience utilises assets from Three’s recent TV advertising campaign for Go Roam which features a unique animal character that combines a giraffe with a flamingo. The CGI spot, contrasting the ‘nervy’ feelings of a wobbly baby giraffe with the strut of the ‘Giraffe-amingo’, demonstrates the power of Three’s roaming offering that gives customers the freedom to use their phones as they would here in the UK, in more destinations than any other UK mobile network.

Natalie Fowler, marketing communications manager at Three, says: “Our work with Kinetic has truly enhanced our Go Roam campaign. The team provided us with an inspired approach to demonstrating the value of our roaming offering, Kinetic Active’s VR brings Go Roam to a whole new audience in a highly engaging way. We’re excited for consumers to experience the fun and cannot wait to see their reactions.”

The VR experience was developed by Kinetic Active, Mindshare UK, Somewhere Else VR and Ambient. The creative for the ‘Giraffe-amingo’ TV spot was developed by W+K London.

Alongside the two handsets, the IMO Go, a mobile hotspot product, will also be available at £24.99 plus a monthly tariff.

Annie Brooks, Director of Mobile at Virgin Media, said “From our freestyle contracts to our Virgin Wi-Fi app, we are always looking for new ways to give our customers the best deals possible. With IMO we’re bringing an exciting, fresh mobile brand into the UK and helping our customers to enjoy on-the-go connectivity, with quality smartphones at an affordable price.”

“Our objective is to offer the best value smartphones without any sacrifice in quality or functionality,” said Nigel Whitehead, IMO’s Head of Sales and Propositions. “IMO devices and features are all defined in the UK, with the specific aim of enabling young people to own a smartphone that won’t break the bank, or worry parents reluctant to give their children phones that can cost significantly more.”

The TV ad is part of a multi-million pound, multi-channel brand campaign to launch the offer.

The integrated campaign – entitled ‘Breaking Sports News’ – sees face of EE, Kevin Bacon, return as a football pundit alongside ex-England international and Manchester United player, Rio Ferdinand.

Their broadcast is interrupted by the breaking news of EE signing the BT Sport App deal for customers. Kevin quickly cuts to live reactions from some the biggest names in football, including Jürgen Klopp, Claudio Ranieri, José Mourinho and Harry Redknapp.

EE, the UK’s largest mobile network operator, is making the offer available to new and existing pay monthly mobile and tablet customers via the BT Sport App.

The 40 second TV ad launched last week and is airing across all commercial channels. It is also available on YouTube here. Other ‘Breaking Sports News’ creative will run across print, OOH, retail and social media alongside a unique execution of the TV ad for digital.

Hugely popular eight-part YouTube online football series The Wembley Cup is also returning for a second year and will be used to target the YouTube audience with the BT Sport App offer. Fans will be able to follow the two teams, Spencer FC and Weller Wanderers, each captained by popular YouTubers, as they battle it out in a series of challenges. The final squads, including EA SPORTS FIFA legends exclusive to XBOX, will meet for a star-studded LIVE final at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on September 2nd.

Max Taylor, MD of digital, comms and innovation, EE, said: “This is the one of our biggest integrated brand campaigns to date for one of our most exciting customer offers since we launched EE. We know how much our customers like watching content on the go – particularly sport – and this offer is a fantastic example of the added benefits our customers get now that we’re part of BT Group. We are always looking at new ways to showcase the quality of our unrivalled superfast 4G network and providing the best content for our customers is an important part of that.”

The new deal will provide new and existing EE pay monthly customers with six month’s free access to all the live sporting action available on BT Sport channels, via the BT Sport App. As well as live and on-demand catch-up, the BT Sport App provides an array of additional video clips including highlights, interviews, video diaries, fixtures, results and league tables.

From this week, EE customers on consumer and small business pay monthly handset, tablet and SIM only phone plans will be able to access to all the BT Sport channels on their smartphone or tablet. Sports fans can stream the most anticipated action live, or watch highlights over EE’s award-winning 4G network as well as WiFi whenever they choose.

The BT Sport offer is the first of a series of benefits to be made available to EE customers now that EE is part of BT Group, and the first time that a BT service will be promoted through EE’s retail stores nationwide.

The TV ad was developed by EE’s advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi London. EE’s media buying agency, MEC, has led the multi-million-pound investment in placement.

The campaign, which will launch on 18th July, encourages workers around the country working to show themselves working in a way or location that suits them best. The company says locations could be anything from the beach to the bedroom, so long as the photos capture individuals getting their work done.

The #Flexie campaign will run for two weeks until August 1st 2016 with the #Flexie posts that best epitomise flexible working giving their creators the chance to win one of 10 flexible working mystery boxes.

The Smarter Working Initiative sees British businesses unite to showcase flexible working in the UK and how it benefits both the businesses and staff alike. Businesses involved include RED Driving School, Purplebricks.com and luxury fashion retailer Orlebar Brown. Other companies are being invited to sign up to test flexible working – which will be celebrated with its own day on July 25th, 2016, the first official day of holidays for schools in the UK – at www.smarterworkinginitiative.com

Simon Prince, Marketing Director at Powwownow, says: “We’re encouraging workers that are lucky enough to be offered flexibility in their job to post pictures of how and where they work best. All individuals have different ideal working conditions whether this be in a silent room with no one else around or outside drawing inspiration from nature and their surroundings and we hope these images will capture that and prove that work can get done outside of the office and away from the desk.”
