<p>An additional 10 entries will also receive an exclusive invitation to join Dede Westbrook at the London &amp; Partners studio, the Mayor’s official promotional organisation, ahead of the NFL Draft pick announcement.</p>

<p>With a hub of NFL entertainment and activities planned there is something for everyone at the Jaguars Fan Festival – from American Football fanatics to casual spectators or even passers-by new to the game.</p>
<p>The focal point will be a fun skills challenge – no sport gear required! – giving fans of all ages the chance to take on a series of physical challenges from the NFL Combine test. From vertical jump to throwing accuracy, fans can compare their stats to the pros and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes. There will also be a Madden video game challenge taking place throughout the day.</p>
<p>Dede Westbrook will be interacting with fans at the festival and will also be doing a Q&amp;A.</p>

<p>Sainsbury’s is also launching its first ever ‘Comic Receipt’ campaign, which offers the chance to see Ed Sheeran in Rome later this year. You’ll also get to meet him after the gig, and receive your very own, signed guitar.</p>

<p>It’s also an important anniversary for Sainsbury’s and Comic Relief.</p>

<p>Last week, Taco Bell chimed in with a sound that London has been missing for over a year: Big Ben’s bells. As the famous clock is under scaffolding for reconstruction, Big Ben’s popular chimes have also been under wraps. Taco Bell seized the opportunity to surprise and delight Londoners with a sound of their own: its signature bell, digitised to recreate the Westminster chimes.The move marks the world’s leading Mexican-inspired restaurant’s entry into London, one of the brand’s most requested cities for entry.</p>
<p>The first London Taco Bell, located in the Hammersmith district, opens November 23, and is sure to have hundreds of fans lining up for blocks.“Restoring Big Ben’s bell with our bell was the perfect way to introduce ourselves to London in a way only Taco Bell can,” said Marisa Thalberg, Taco Bell Global Chief Brand Officer. “We don’t take ourselves too seriously and have been known to play a prank or two. We hope our unique twist on Big Ben’s chimes brought surprise and humour to Londoners; this was our little arrival gift as we gratefully show up on London’s doorstep.”</p>
<p>Fans of Taco Bell will remember its infamous 1996 April Fool’s Liberty Bell prank, in which the brand advertised it had bought the Liberty Bell and renamed it the “Taco Liberty Bell,” before revealing the story was a hoax and announcing a contribution to the upkeep of the Liberty Bell. In this same lighthearted vein, Taco Bell brought some humour into Londoners daily commutes, as they passed by Big Ben and heard a new twist on the Westminster Chimes.</p>
<p>To create this new take on the chimes, the brand worked with an audio engineer to compose the chimes out of Taco Bell’s iconic bell. The chimes were blasted through parametric speakers in the area surrounding Big Ben on November 19, causing quite the stir among Londoners days before Taco Bell’s first London restaurant opening.</p>
<p>“We’ve had our sights set on London for quite some time, and as we continue growing internationally, we’re excited to bring Taco Bell to one of the world’s largest cities – and one of our most-requested markets,” said Liz Williams, President, Taco Bell International. “We’ve seen an overwhelmingly positive response to our U.K. restaurants, and have ambitious plans for growth in London and the broader U.K., targeting more than 30 U.K. restaurants by the end of the year.”</p>
<p>The London restaurants will feature modern designs, open-kitchen concepts, artwork from local artists, complimentary WiFi and outlets for charging devices, inviting guests to stay and socialise over their meal. Menu items will include classics from Taco Bell’s U.S. menu, U.K. specific items such as churros with dipping sauces, Twisted Freezes, beer, and specials such as happy hours, &#8216;Taco Tuesday&#8217; and a ‘Cravers’ value menu. The Hammersmith restaurant will even feature the same beer innovation as Taco Bell’s Las Vegas flagship Cantina, where beer fills the cup from the bottom before being sealed with a magnet.</p>

<p>The initiative reduces cold-related winter deaths by encouraging people to donate their unwanted coats, which are distributed to local community groups, supporting the homeless, refugees, the elderly and people fleeing domestic violence. Last year, generous Londoners donated over 20,000 coats via collections at tube stations, schools, places of worship and over 100 companies.</p>
<p>More than 100 groups have benefited to date, while the Wrap Up Family has grown to encompass Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, where Hands On London is working in partnership with leading Muslim faith-based charity Human Appeal. Newport and Lancashire are coming on board for 2018, with Hands On London working in association with Pride in Pill and the Rotary Club respectively.</p>
<p>“Again, Sense will be dressing iconic London statues in coats and scarves as part of the awareness drive,” explained Sense Deputy MD Lou Garrod. “The award-winning pro bono activity is part of our annual #notimetowaste initiative, which had such an impact in London in 2017 that this year residents in Manchester and Birmingham will also see their most exposed residents, each city’s iconic statues, wrapped up against the cold.”</p>
<p>Commenting on the campaign, Hands On London CEO Jon Meech said: “Each year, the crisis in our cities increases. Recent research by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism showed that at least 449 homeless people have died in the UK over the past 12 months – more than one a day. And this figure is likely to be a substantial underestimate as no official organisation counts homeless deaths in Britain. We have a huge demand for coats, especially for men.</p>
<p>“However, this is not just about those sleeping on our streets at night; the crisis is closer to us than we think. We received requests last year for more children’s coats, as in some areas there are children going to school in the winter months wearing just a shirt or jumper. These children should have something as basic as a coat.”</p>
<p>Hands On London founder Elizabeth Grier added: “I am delighted that this year we continue to widen our Wrap Up campaign to more cities across the UK so we can help even more people stay warm this winter. Especially at a time where the country seems to be more divided, this campaign unites us all towards one goal, which is to reduce the number of vulnerable people without a coat.</p>
<p>“It also showcases the power of action and commitment as this is a huge volunteer-led campaign. Volunteer time is spent collecting coats at nominated stations across the capital and then days sorting and redistributing them. Wrap Up London is one of London’s most successful volunteer-led campaigns, with a record number of over 1,000 wonderful volunteers supporting it in 2017.”</p>

<p>The campaign builds on the success of a 2017 campaign which achieved over 74 million global impressions, and is aimed at raising awareness of Chiquita bananas amongst the brand’s key target audience of UK mums and millennials.</p>
<p>Kicking off this week and running through until mid-August, the activity will again take over central London – giving black cabs and London buses on key central routes ‘We Are Bananas’ wrap-around makeovers, with designs featuring the brand’s iconic blue and yellow branding. The seven-week campaign will also be supported by digital and social activity across the brand’s channels.</p>
<p>To launch the campaign, Chiquita offered consumers who flagged down a Chiquita Bananas yellow cab on July 16th a free ride, so long as they could produce a Chiquita banana.</p>
<p>The yellow taxis were stationed around Covent Garden Piazza, on Henrietta Street and Southampton Street and Holborn tube station all day, offering free rides to anyone with the correct banana fare to anywhere in zones 1 and 2.</p>
<p>John Cockle, Sales and Market Director for Chiquita Brands International, UK and Ireland, comments: “As leaders in the industry, we’re confident that our ‘We are bananas’ campaign will once again put Chiquita bananas front of mind during the key summer period and encourage consumers to ‘think Chiquita’ when they’re making their purchasing decisions. This is the fourth time that we have run a high-profile summer campaign in London, which demonstrates our commitment to creating a vibrant banana category for UK retailers, as well continuing to build the Chiquita banana brand amongst UK consumers.”</p>
