Kingsmill launches the UK's first smooth seeded bread
The new range, set to be rolled out to stores across the UK this month, includes, The Secretly Seeded One, the first smooth seeded bread on the market, The Lightly Seeded One and The Really Seeded One.
Chris Heyn, brand manager, Allied Bakeries says: "This range is being backed by a £700,000 marketing campaign. Allied Bakeries has a comprehensive in-store shopper-marketing programme in place, concentrated across the major food retailers. This includes in-store rack advertising, shelf wobblers, in-store sampling and editorial placements in store magazines.
"We’re also in the process of agreeing a free loaf for every reader offer with a leading national newspaper to drive interest and trial of the new products."
