Typhoo Tea launches 'Golden Teabag' promotion

Typhoo is offering consumers their very own chance to stroll down the infamous cobbled street with a day on set with the Corrie stars. A further 100 consumers will also win a set of limited edition, collectible, Corrie-themed tea caddies, complete with Typhoo teabags inside.
Fans will have to look out for one of the 100 ‘golden teabags’ hidden within special packs of Typhoo Tea. Lucky winners of the unique teabags, can redeem a set of 3 limited edition tea caddies and will be entered into a prize draw to win a day on the set with the stars.
Kate Willoughby, brand marketing manager at Typhoo Tea, says: “We’re delighted to be working in association with Coronation Street. The Golden Teabag promotion is a great way to engage consumers and provide the opportunity for them to win truly amazing, money-can’t-buy prizes.”
Typhoo will be driving consumer awareness of the ‘Golden Teabag’ activity with a high impact marketing campaign including PR, radio and press campaigns, which will run from July through to November in advance of the 50th anniversary episode of Coronation Street which airs 9th December.
