Twinings has linked up with the Rainforest Alliance (RFA) to help support sustainable agriculture.

The British tea brand has announced that as much as possible of the tea used to blend its Twinings Everyday sub-brand will now be sourced from RFA certified farms. From January 2010, Twinings Everyday will carry the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal on-pack.

Twinings' aim is to source 100% of its Everyday tea from RFA-certified estates by 2015.

Twinings is also a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), which it has been working with since its launch in 1997.
