Innocent's Little Woolly Hats
For every bottle with a hat on sold, innocent donates 25p to Age UK to help keep older people warm in winter.
This November, celebrities and designers created their own little woolly hats to help raise money for The Big Knit. The picture shows the efforts of (from left to right) Betty Jackson, Heston Blumenthal, Sienna Miller, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Savannah Miller.
The behatted smoothie bottles are on sale in Sainsbury’s and Boots.
Since 2002, the annual Big Knit campaign has put hats on 2.5 million smoothies and raised over £850,000 for Age UK (formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged). The charity is using the funds to help older people stay warm in winter by providing information, advice and grants on issues like heating, health and hot meals.
This year’s Big Knit took place from 2 November to 29 November 2011.
