Bel UK says cheese to Toucan

Toucan has been appointed to develop a year long campaign for speciality soft cheese Port Salut, which kicks off with an on-pack promotion in partnership with JP Chenet.

The first stage of activity includes a promotional collar on JP Chenet bottles in Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons, offering a free 185g wedge of Port Salut. Consumers will be invited to visit a newly created website, enter a promotional code and download a free product coupon worth nearly £2.

Gary Rapps, joint chairman at Toucan, says: “This is the first time a partnership such as this has offered a completely free cheese pack with every bottle and is a great way to launch what is sure to be an exciting relationship between these two leading brands”.

The campaign includes other promotional activity, trade support, sampling and PR.
