Spar in free flights offer

Henderson Group, owners of the SPAR and VIVO franchises in Northern Ireland, has teamed up with The Continuity Company (TCC) to offer European flights, discounted airport parking and up to 60% off hotel accommodation anywhere in the world.

Launched on 25 January and running for 12 weeks across all 307 SPAR and VIVO stores, the promotion allows shoppers to earn stamps that can be redeemed for discounts on Kappa luggage.

Once shoppers have collected ten stamps they can purchase four different pieces of Kappa luggage at 60 per cent off, including a laptop carry bag, backpack, overnight holdall or trolley suitcases, or the entire set.

For each piece of luggage the customer gets one scheduled, direct flight from Belfast City or International airports to a European destination. Flight vouchers can be redeemed with any airline carrier and the customer will only pay taxes and charges.

Customers will also receive an airport car parking discount voucher up to 40% discount with aph.com and a worldwide hotel voucher up to 60% through www.HotelStayUK.com. The vouchers are valid until the end of February 2011 and can be used together or separately, allowing shoppers to choose when and how they redeem their rewards. There is also a special discount rate for flights and accommodation for one additional passenger.

David Ringer, TCC general manager for UK & Ireland, says: “This really is a break away from traditional merchandise based collectables programmes. It demonstrates what can be achieved by working with multiple organisations to generate desirable rewards consumers will want, as well as SPAR and VIVO’s wish to offer a genuine reward for loyalty, remaining sensitive to changing customer needs.”
