French orange liqueur Cointreau has commissioned a limited-edition bottle, covered in silver and Swarovski crystals, from iconic French fashion designer, Catherine Malandrino.

Stylish Edinburgh venue Tigerlily is to give away four of the limited edition Cointreau bottles to guests who book the hotel’s luxury Georgian suites over New Year, while Selfridges will be the exclusive retail outlet, with the bottles priced at £129.99.

The Tigerlily guests will also be served a Winter White Lady cocktail made in their room using a Catherine Malandrino-design boston shaker and martini glasses.

Malandrino, whose boutique was used to film an episode of Sex and the City, was tasked with creating a limited edition Cointreau bottle that combined the energy of Manhattan with the romance of Paris, according to Cointreau’s UK distributors, First Drinks. Only 3,000 of the stunning bottles have been released worldwide.
