Online coupons added to Fair Exchange

Downloadable coupons redeemable at 95 per cent of high-street stores are now available through the Fair Exchange portal, a network of game and reward sites.
Registered users simply have to select from a choice of free coupons and print them off using technology developed by Couponstar.
The website, at www.fair-exchange.com, also allows them to take part in prize draws and competitions, including a £1 million daily draw.
“The move to include free coupons on the Fair Exchange portal resulted from on-site research which revealed that 86 per cent of members would download coupons from the website and 78 per cent already used coupons when shopping,” says Bill Burey managing director of online data collection company PDV, which owns Fair Exchange.
“Because we are always seeking ways to offer Fair Exchange members extra attractions and thus generate more permission-based marketing leads for our clients, we decided to link with the UK market leader in the online coupon sector Couponstar to provide this service.
“Because the coupons are worth real money, we have to cap the number of prints made of each, since we’re offering them completely free. So each printer can print a coupon only twice.”
Couponstar, which developed the secure online coupon delivery service, provides a minimum of 24 coupons, updated daily, for Fair Exchange members. They are encouraged to regularly revisit the section of the website for coupons through established communications such as newsletters.
