The Mailway solution made use of perforated bandoliers and a high-speed automated production line that enabled strings of sealed coupons to be separated, inserted and then sealed in a specialist flow wrap material.
David Barr, operations development manager of Aunt Bessie’s says: “In the past, fears about manufacturing deadlines have led to some reluctance to include inserts of this nature, but the Mailway team was able to perfect a way of printing and wrapping the inserts at a high enough volume and on time.
“By including the money off vouchers in our fastest selling Yorkshire Pudding packs we are now able to generate some excellent cross-selling opportunities for other products in our range such as stuffing balls and desserts.”
