Wolf Blass offer VIP sporting prizes

Wolf Blass is launching a sporting-themed £2 million advertising campaign this month, with an on-pack promotion offering the chance to win VIP sporting prizes throughout 2010.

The in-store neck-collar promotion offers prizes including all inclusive VIP packages to major sporting events such as the Ashes in Australia, premiership football matches, the Ryder Cup, Queens and Royal Ascot.

The promotion will appear on special neck-tagged bottles of Wolf Blass Yellow Label and consumers can enter the competition on-line at www.wolfblass.com.

Encompassing national TV advertising, national print, outdoor posters, on-line and in-store activity, the marketing campaign is expected to reach over three million consumers.

The first activity coincides with the RBS 6 Nations Championship and is themed around rugby, which leverages the Wolf Blass on-going partnership as the official wine supplier to the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

In the run up to the rugby season, Wolf Blass will have prime roadside advertising sites on major roads into London and pitch-side advertising and sampling within Twickenham rugby stadium.

The campaign will also dominate all advertising sites within Waterloo station. Wolf Blass will feature on all ticket barriers, digital LED sites and hanging banners positioned within the main concourse and on each platform.

A national broadsheet media and on-line advertising will run in conjunction with all outdoor advertising to ensure the Wolf Blass campaign has maximum cut-through. It will appear alongside sporting commentary within key print publications and on the official RFU online TV highlights site.
