The producers of Sister Act have joined forces with Clinton Cards to celebrate National Sisters Day on Thursday 5 August, 2010.

This is the first of an annual event and National Sisters Day was launched at the home of Sister Act, the London Palladium, by cast members from the show.

Cards and gifts are available in store now and customers can also enter a fantastic competition to win a luxury weekend for four to see Sister Act the Musical.

Sister Act is currently playing at the London Palladium and features US actress Patina Miller as Deloris, Blue star Simon Webbe and Dad’s Army Legend Ian Lavender. Star of the original movie and co-producer of the London production, Whoopi Goldberg, will join the cast as Mother Superior on August 10.

Patina Miller, Sister Act’s leading lady, says: “I think most people can relate to the joy of having great people around you, be they loved ones, friends or actual sisters.
