Sheffield based company Steel City Marketing has been awarded the British Promotional Merchandising Association’s (bpma) award for UK Distributor of the Year 2011.

The awards dinner took place during the Trade Only National Show, the largest promotional product show in the UK, held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

James Biggin, joint managing director of Steel City Marketing, accepting the award from Evan Lewis from Everything Environmental at the bpma Annual Awards dinner.

The event was hosted by Peter Dickson from the X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent and was attended by over 700 UK promotional gifts suppliers and distributors.

James says: “We are chuffed to bits to have won this award. It’s the biggest award up for grabs in our industry and Steel City Marketing is in the toughest and largest category as we were up against 188 other distributors. It’s particularly special for us to have won this award now, as we are currently celebrating 30 years in business!”
