Cineworld card launched for incentives

Filmology, the movie promotions arm of marketing group P&MM, has launched cinema chain Cineworld’s Unlimited Pass into the business-to-business market.
It entitles recipients to unlimited access to 73 Cineworld sites for 12 months as well as preferential invitations and discounted tickets for Cineworld exclusive advance screenings, festivals and other events.
They can also take advantage of special offers when buying food and drink in the cinema and have access to entering exclusive competitions.
It is now being marketed by Filmology to brand owners and agencies for consumer and trade promotions and for staff incentives and rewards.
David Pearson, director of Filmology said: “With the Unlimited Card, moviegoers will enjoy the benefit of substantial savings every time they go to the cinema and the card quickly pays for itself. This is a great way to get more people enjoying film and with the many blockbuster releases due throughout 2008, including The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and the latest instalment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, there will certainly be a great deal to look forward to with the Unlimited Card.
“Promotions involving film remain one of the most popular on the market due to the widespread appeal of the cinema. No matter what genre recipients prefer, with new releases each week, the flexibility of the Unlimited Card means that there will be something for everyone.
“It should prove to be an extremely appealing proposition as part of a marketing campaign such as on-pack promotions or as an employee reward with a difference.”
Luke Roberts, marketing communications manager at Cineworld, added: “This is a fantastic product for anyone that enjoys going to the cinema as you can watch any film, any time, any day and make substantial savings.”
