Pink Shrimp targets ‘green’ promotions
It is headed by directors Michelle Penn and Marc Penn (pictured), who has extensive experience of the promotions industry through businesses such as Blue Fish Promotions.
Michelle Penn said: “Choosing an environmentally friendly product to promote your company is important because it confirms a corporate social responsibility but it doesn’t have to be a dull green just because you have an environmental ethos.
“We’ve chosen products from sustainable sources and ethical supply because we are serious about environmental issues. All of our products are tried and tested and look funky, from pens and T-shirts to recycled glasses and chilli plants.”
Marc Penn added: “The market is full of ‘green’ companies, so we’ve had a great response to Pink Shrimp so far, many complimenting us on our new pink website.”
Ethical, sustainable and organic products sold by the company include items made from materials such as yoghurt pots, tyres, CD cases and car parts. These include solar-panelled phone chargers and water-powered clocks among the promotional gifts.
