Grant’s in consumer glass giveaway

Grant’s blended Scotch whisky is offering consumers a three-sided ‘Different Angle’ glass with every bottle.

Grant’s, which is distributed in the UK by First Drinks Brands and owned by William Grant & Sons Ltd, is spending around £100,000 on the on-pack campaign, which will see 170,000 packs distributed during February to off-trade retailers across the UK.

The shape of the glass reflects the angular shape of the iconic Grant’s bottle, and so links to the whisky’s ‘Different Angle’ marketing campaign.

Harriet Knight, brand manager for Grant’s at First Drinks Brands, says: “The campaign is inspired by our highly successful ‘A Different Angle’ brand platform and has been designed to deliver value back into the category and encourage further growth in 2009.”

Later this year will see an increase in marketing spend and the continuation of the highly-successful Garden After Hours campaign to further support both the on- and off-trade.
