Aroma-infused dough launched for promotions

Wed 1st Oct 2008
Merchandise agency Calverley has launched a dough with customisable colours and aromas into the promotions market.
Aroma Dough is made from beeswax and cocoa butter and can be Pantone-matched to the client’s brand. It is scented with aromatherapy oils that can be chosen from popular fragrances or specially formulated to tie in with the brand profile or particular event.
It is presented in a branded tin with a personalised sticker.
Aromas infused into the dough have been proved to promote clarity and focus, enhance co-operation and draw out creativity, making them suitable for brainstorming and training sessions.
Aroma Dough’s scents and colours last well over six months, which can serve as a reminder of the brainstorming session and promote further discussion. It is also being positioned as a gift for clients and staff who need stress relief this Christmas because of its soothing aromas and pliable dough.
Calverley managing director Will Ripley said: “At Calverley, we pride ourselves on being able to brand and supply many different and unusual promotional items, but Aroma Dough is certainly one of the most exciting because of its all-round sensory stimulation and the fact that it is such a unique product.”
