Crest of London launches corporate division

Tue 16th Sep 2008

Crest of London, the supplier of gifts with London and British themes, is today launching a new corporate sales division at the National Incentive Show in Birmingham.

Having traded for over 18 years, it said that increased demand from the corporate sector has led to the creation of a dedicated team for the corporate gifting and incentives market.

With nine stores in the capital, the company focuses on products with London and British themes.

Clients have included airlines, London-based embassies, international law and finance firms, travel trade companies and event management companies.

K Ravi, general manager of Crest Trading, said: “For a number of years we’ve worked with blue-chip companies and organisations of all sizes, fulfilling their needs. As demand has grown, we have now seen the need to look more closely at the requirements of our corporate clients, giving them the added benefits of services such as product branding, volume discounts and idea generation.

“Many businesses welcome visitors from overseas, and many conference and event managers are looking for London- and UK-specific items to link their event to the destination. We are now in a position to help them to do that whether they are looking for a fun takeaway item or a gift with stylish impact.”

The new team is led by Arabella Nairne, head of sales and marketing for Crest.

The launch of the new division is being heralded by Crest Bear, the Coldstream Guard company mascot, on the opening day of the show.

Crest is also planning to launch a new website with an expanded range and new ideas, scheduled for the end of 2008.

Crest of London is also offering the prize of a London mini-break to visitors on each day of the show. To enter, exhibition visitors go to stand B24 and leave their business card. Each prize offers a night at a four-star hotel in central London for two people, with winners being selected at random at the end of each day of the show.

The National Incentive Show runs until Thursday at Birmingham NEC.
