Fairsharemusic.com moves into corporate reward and incentives arena
fairsharemusic.com, a music download store which donates 50% of its net profit to charity, launched in June 2010 and has partnered with many of the country’s leading charities, and uniquely combines legal music downloads with charitable giving.
Via fairsharemusic for business, its newly created specialist corporate incentives arm, the company has brought two new products to market – gift cards available in any denomination, and e-Gift codes which are delivered via email straight to the recipient.
Lee Cannon, co-founder of fairsharemusic says: “Our expert team developed a range of products to satisfy the demand for music in the incentives arena. Following our launch into the consumer sector last year, we’ve identified an untapped market in the corporate sector – specifically organisations that realise the potential for great music promotions, but which also have a commitment to socially responsible corporate rewards.
“Businesses can use fairsharemusic.com gift cards and e-gifts to connect and engage with their target audience. Music has been proven time and again in some great campaigns – to increase reach, brand awareness, loyalty and to drive sales, for on-pack consumer promotions, to add value to products and services, and to reward staff. Its application is endless.”
Fairsharemusic gift cards are issued without any value assigned and are activated with the preselected fund once received by the recipient. This removes the need for secure storage and delivery. E-gift codes are delivered direct to the recipient via email for immediate spend online.
Recipients can browse and spend their reward on chart singles and albums, and on a back catalogue of over 17 million tracks. Every time music is downloaded, half the profit goes to a charity of the consumer’s choice.
Charity partners include the Alzheimer’s Society British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Oxfam, RSPCA and Virgin Unite. Pricing on Fairsharemusic.com is in parity with other stores and downloads integrate seamlessly and directly into iTunes or Windows media libraries.
