Global social media agency We Are Social has appointed Nicole Ghobrial as group account director. Nicole joins from Agency Republic where she was group business director.

Nicole has extensive experience of digital marketing across a wide range of industry sectors, including retail, financial services, travel, automotive and telecoms. She previously spent three years at M&C Saatchi Group digital and direct agency Mark in Australia as general manager, where she set up their Melbourne office and grew it to 30 people.

She joins at a time of rapid expansion for We Are Social and her experience will be of significant benefit to us and our clients.”

Nicole will head up We Are Social’s relationship with a number of key clients, working with them to help integrate social media into their marketing strategies.

Since its launch in 2008, We Are Social has grown to more than 140 people in seven countries.
