The Big Kick's creative director joins Toucan

Andy Stanton, The Big Kick's creative director, has joined Toucan to head up the agency's creative team, bringing with him a wealth of integrated promotional marketing experience.

After various creative roles at BD-NTWK, Chilli, Catalyst (now Wax), and Grasshopper (now Firecracker) he became creative director of The Big Kick in Hatfield, where he helped win and grow their Stella Artois, Nestle, and Tesco accounts, not to mention playing his part in various IPM and MAA awards for Müller, Nivea and Walkers.

He now joins the established Clapham based agency where he will be responsible for creative direction across a number of exciting client opportunities including New Covent Garden, Discovery Foods and Ocean Spray.

Stanton says: "I'm thrilled to be joining an agency that still feels fun, young and hungry for success. I believe in great ideas and great execution and can't wait to get going."

Gary Rapps, managing director at Toucan, adds: "I'm delighted to have signed up one of the best creatives in the industry to help us continue building on our previous success. We are really excited about 2012 and the contribution that Andy will make to it."
