iD Experiential appoints experiential guru Barnett Fletcher

iD Experiential has appointed 10 new staff including former Engine Group executive Barnett Fletcher as its newest business growth consultant.

In this new role Fletcher will be responsible for the developing business in new sectors for the agency such as technology, financial services and automotive, as well as developing experiential opportunities within sponsorship activation, an area Fletcher has a wealth of experience in.

Fletcher joins iD following 25 years of industry experience. He founded and headed up The Barnett Fletcher Promotions Company in 1990 – sold to InterPublic in 1997 and has since gone on to work for acclaimed agencies including, McCann, Synergy, and Lowe.

Most recently, he acted as consultant at the Engine Group where he headed up projects including sponsorship asset selection and negotiation and successfully secured Rory McIlroy - the Northern Irish golf hero and US Open Winner - as Santander’s newest brand ambassador.

Fletcher has worked with an extensive list of high profile brands including Nestle, Unilever, Wrigley, Diageo, Boots, Pepsi, Sky, Kelloggs, Intel, LG, Google, Vodafone, Nintendo, ING, American Express, Virgin, GM, Red Bull, Mercedes-Benz, Motorola, Nokia, Sony, Sainsbury’s and KPMG.

Fletcher’s appointment is iD’s tenth new hire this month following an agency wide expansion at all levels including business support and account management.
