iCrossing UK appoints chief strategy officer
Iremonger joins in mid-April to head up the UK’s strategy team, tasked with building the agency’s capability to deliver tightly integrated digital marketing communications for clients that include LG Electronics, BAA and LA Fitness.
Iremonger has 19 years’ experience working with some of the world’s leading brands that include P&G, Sony, VW, Royal Mail, Lloyds Banking Group and Allianz.
Iremonger has spent the past six years as head of digital and planning at Direct and Digital agency Proximity London. His role saw him first develop the agency’s digital capability and then lead the planning department, putting strategic thinking at the heart of the business.
Before Proximity, he spent four years as a partner at digital agency unit9, voted the 9th most creative agency in the UK by Adage International in 2004. Prior to this he ran the cross platform marketing start-up Sleeper, a joint venture between interactive agency Deepend London and TV commercial company Blink.
Iremonger has also been a member of the British Council’s Creative Industry’s Advisory Panel to promote UK creative services abroad and a Vice Chair of BIMA.
He will report to iCrossing UK CEO, Paul Doleman and be based across the agency’s London and Brighton offices.
