Closer boosts growth with business development director

Billington Cartmell’s live engagement agency, Closer, is hiring Ben Reed as Experiential Business Development Director.

Reed will work with Closer Director Liz Richardson to build profile and business further throughout the coming months.

Formerly at Sense, Reed worked on brands including Vodafone, Muller and SC Johnson. He was previously Head of Experiential at Woo, part of the Engine Group, working with clients across media including The Famous Grouse, Santander, GlaxoSmithKline and Disney.

Liz Richardson says “As experiential marketing sees continued growth as a discipline, Closer is now at the point when it needs its own dedicated Business Development Director, and Ben’s experience and skills will be invaluable.
