Halewood International links with the British Liver Trust for Love Your Liver Month

Halewood International’s alcohol-free wine brand, Eisberg, is collaborating with the British Liver Trust to launch the first ever national liver health campaign.

The month long campaign includes pop-up liver health clinics on board a double decker bus which will visit five cities in the UK as part of the Love Your Liver road show.

The road show is the first of its kind and gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the liver and get tips on how to love your liver. It also offers the chance to get a liver test through a Fibroscan, a non-invasive and painless test that measures how stiff your liver is.

The Fibroscan helps to detect any signs of damage that will need further investigation, and is only available in some NHS hospitals, but only if you’ve been referred to a specialist with abnormal liver-function tests.

Liverpool based Halewood International will be the first port of call for the Love Your Liver road show, before the national tour visits Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, London and Exeter.
