Fox Kalomaski launches Old Spice 'Man Tour'
The theme of the road show is based on the Old Spice TV ad, which aired over the summer, with the proposition ‘smell like a man, man’ which features a white horse.
Following a Facebook poll of Old Spice UK’s 76,900 fans, the tour will be visiting universities in Kingston, Warwick, Nottingham, Derby and Northumbria, as well as city centre stops including Sheffield, Manchester and finishing up at Liverpool on 24th October 2011.
In November, the Old Spice Man Tour will move on to support Movember for the second year, including attending the Greenwich 10km, Battersea 5km plus the end of Movember gala. Movember supports the Prostate Cancer Charity and has raised millions globally for the cause.
Guy White, Old Spice brand manager, says: “We are really excited to see the Man Tour going live as the brand is going from strength to strength. Our fans will be able to emulate the Old Spice TV commercial by mounting the white horse and striking their best pose, as well as trying out Old Spice Whitewater and new Old Spice Kilimanjaro.”
The tour comprises a white horse, which fans can pose on, a liveried horse lorry and a liveried ice cream van, with kit sponsorship packages up for grabs for the university team or society that achieves the biggest turnout.
