Nature Valley, the granola bar range owned by General Mills, is sponsoring The Ramblers Festival of Winter Walks, fronted by TV personality Ben Fogle.

The Ramblers – also known as The Ramblers’ Association – is arranging hundreds of walks led by experienced Ramblers walk leaders place across the country between Boxing Day and January 3rd 2010. The walks are free and open to anyone.

Participants on many of the walks will be given free Nature Valley snack bars.

Nature Valley is also supporting its sponsorship of the Winter Walks with a competition on its website. Consumers are being invited to upload pictures of their favourite winter walks, with the best entry – as judged by Ben Fogle – winning a weekend stay for two at the luxury Hotel Endsleigh in Tavistock, Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor.

Fogle will also choose 50 runners-up, who will get a month’s supply of Nature Valley bars.
