Fri 13th Nov 2009
VisitScotland is again working with Edinburgh agency Blue-Chip Marketing on its promotional campaign for this winter, White Invite 2010.
The activity updates Blue-Chip’s previous multi-award winning work, which achieved huge success, generating £46m in incremental revenue for the Scottish tourist economy for a return-on-investment of 287:1.
The wide-ranging activity (which breaks at the beginning of December 2009 and runs to March 2010) is aimed at attracting UK tourists to Scotland to experience a range of ‘winter white’ activities on offer.
Creative treatments focus on 'white sights' -- white castles, lighthouses, cottages, frozen lochs and snow-capped peaks, white beaches and rushing white rivers – and other white experiences, including white fish, ice-cream and cheeses, and various white animals and birds that Scotland in a winter home for.
White Invite 2009 has so far garnered 10 awards for Blue-Chip, including a Gold, two Silvers and a Bronze at the ISP Awards 2009.
