Cash4Gold, the precious metals buyer that buys direct from the public, is inviting UK consumers to choose the celebrity they would most like to see in one of the company’s TV ads, to star alongside existing brand spokesman MC Hammer.

Anyone who fills in a form at uk.cash4gold.com requesting one of the company’s jewellery mailing packs is then eligible to suggest a UK celebrity. If that celebrity is eventually chosen, then everyone who has suggested them will be entered into a draw to win tea with MC Hammer and the UK celebrity.

Consumers use the mailing packs to send broken or unwanted jewellery to Cash4Gold; the company will then make an offer to buy the items, which the consumer can accept or reject.

So far, the top five celebrities suggested by the UK public are Simon Cowell, Goldie, Peter Andre, Katie Price and Jimmy Saville.
