Syco promotes Labrinth’s latest track with social media competition
The purpose of the campaign is to generate hype and buzz around Labrinth’s latest single ‘Last Time’. Essence has produced a creative lyric video to go live on VEVO, and a remix competition to run alongside the video on social media.
The purpose of the lyric video is to act as a precursor to the official music video, to be produced later in the year.
To compliment the lyric video, and support Labrinth’s passion of supporting UK culture of ‘bedroom music’, Essence is running a remix competition across Labrinth’s official Facebook page and Soundcloud.
To enter, fans can produce their own track, using Labrinth music stems, and upload their very own track. Once a track has been remixed, it can be uploaded to Soundcloud competition page via the Dropbox button on the same tab.
The best track will be selected by Labrinth, and will be given a place for free download as a bonus track alongside the release of single ‘Last Time’.
