Quorn runs schools promo with DJ masterclass and Ford van as prizes

Leeds-based agency Brahm has created a schools promotion for Quorn, with a first prize of a DJ Masterclass with professional DJ and producer, Filthy Rich for the winning student, and a Ford minibus for the winner’s school.

The campaign aims to develop awareness and promote the Quorn brand in 350 secondary schools throughout the country with the creation of Quorn Mix, an online mixing desk where students can cut, share and download their own music.

Unique promotional codes will be given out with the purchase of each Quorn meal which students can use to log onto the site at http://www.quornmix.co.uk/ and register. Online videos then tutor the students in how to use the mixing desk, and they can create their own cut. Students can send a link to their friends to get them to vote for their favourite tracks, or download tracks to create their own ringtones.

The promotion was sold into Local Education Authorities via an email campaign and followed up with point of sale packs including posters, tent cards and entry packs with unique codes.

Prizes will be given to the students with the most downloads. Other prizes include iPod’s, iPod docking stations and Amazon vouchers. Each winner and runner up from the final will also win a cookery demonstration for their school’s catering staff from an award-winning chef.
