Young Spark Takes DMA Award
Intelligent Marketing’s Amy Grundy has taken the DMA’s 2006 Young Sparks Award in a final that saw her pitted against young rising stars from Tullo Marshall Warren, Ogilvy One Worldwide, WWAV Rapp Collins, Claydon Heeley, WDMP and Navigator.
At just 26 Amy’s career to date has seen her rocket from Account Executive to Account Director in 3 years. Working across 15 accounts in that time she now heads up a team of 5 specialising in B2B marketing.
A delighted Amy said, “It’s a great honour to receive this award not just because of the calibre of entrants but also because of its links with John Young and the work it does in raising awareness for Cancer Research as well as the creative side of the DM industry.”
Launched in 2005 the Young Sparks award was set up in memory of John Young. As head of WWAV Rapp Collins in Edinburgh he was a leading light of the DM industry but died last year at the age of just 38.
